Jamie’s research spans a wide variety of applied and theoretical topics. He spent about a decade developing treatments for communicative disorders in primary progressive aphasia (PPA) and Alzheimer’s Disease. He has recently contributed to news stories (USA Today, PBS NewsHour) on dementia, cognition, and cognitive testing in the US Presidential election (2024). His work on the neuropsychology of cursing was featured in Discover Magazine and Slate. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Neuropsychology and serves on the editorial boards of Behavior Research Methods, NeuropsychologiaAphasiology, Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, and Cognitive Science.
