New METS website honored with award

Following its recent website redesign, the Middle English Text Series has won the 2025 Education Standard of Excellence Award from the American Web marking Association.

The updated website is the first major overhaul since METS began in 1990, and added features including enhanced search, reader view, TEI-XML and Legacy HTML formats and more. The redesign upholds the project's goal of providing authoritative and accessible editions of the widest possible range of literary production from the Insular Middle Ages to the widest possible readership.
